Bringing new life to an old favorite! July 15, 2008 Michele Wright (Southern California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My dad wanted a new battery for his drill for Father's Day. I looked everywhere for one and they just don't carry them in stores anymore because they are for such an old product. I found the battery on Amazon and purchased it for my dad. He was so happy. It worked perfectly and will allow him to use his favorite drill for another decade!

New battery makes my old Makita act like it's brand new. What more do I need to say.

I HVE 2 OF THESE THT R ABOUT 11 YRS OLD THEY STILL WORK WELL BUT 1 IS STARTING TO GO WEAK BUT STILL WORKS FINE FOR AVERAGE TASKS
Factory Battery April 10, 2010 Worth the price to buy the factory battery. I brought an off brand a couple of months back and it was useless after about 10 charges. The Makita battery is still running strong after about a year's use.
